Customise wording of the email that sends invoices
You now have the option to change the wording of the email that sends invoices to your customers. The wording can be setup in the settings section of the admin area - talk to your Projectworks administrator if you want to update it.
The default wording has been left as per the original 'hard coded' wording so if you are happy with the wording you don't need to do anything.
Updating the Invoice email content
The wording can be setup in the settings section of the admin area - talk to your Projectworks administrator if you want to update it
You can update the wording as well as include a number of dynamic tags to pull content related to the invoice into the email. Click Insert tag to see the available options and to select the dynamic content you want to include.
For example, you might want to address the email to the billing contact, include the amount and due date of the invoice and direct enquiries to the Project Manager.
Don't worry if you make a mistake - you can revert to the default message and start again.
It is recommended that you test the email and verify the wording!
Create invoices from the My Forecasts and All Forecast screens
Invoices can now be created from the My Forecasts and All Forecasts screens. This might be a great place to start your invoicing at the end of the month, as you can work your way through your portfolio creating invoices. A grand total has also been added.
Reimbursable and Non-reimbursable expense directories
We know this one will be very useful for finance teams. Two new directories have been added to the Expenses section, allowing a view of reimbursable expenses and non-reimbursable expenses.
Bulk email/export invoices from the Ready for Finance screen
We know that finance teams will be happy with this improvement. The Ready for Finance screen can now be filtered by organisation, with the filter applying to the bulk email and bulk export options.
You can now export or email all invoices on an organisation by organisation basis.
Project setting to control sales tax for billable expenses
Thanks to everyone who has provided feedback on our recent changes to the project expenses. In this release we have included a new project setting to control how purchase sales tax is treated.
Default setting for oncharging purchase sales tax
When ticked each expense lodged against the project will have sales tax included in the amount when billing to the customer. That means the full purchase price will be included on the before tax amount of the invoice.
When reviewing an individual expense you always have the option to override this.
You can always alter how sales tax is handled on each expense.
